# For facilities

Your daycare centre or your after-school care at a primary school is where it is decided whether the project works in everyday practice. Here you will find the essentials for working with an integration support worker, and material you can use straight away.

## Working together day to day

- One fixed contact person in the team makes the start easier: that is what experience from the existing locations shows.
- An introductory meeting before the practical phase settles expectations on both sides.
- Clear tasks help: language mediation, support during transitions, help with contact with parents.

## Material for everyday practice

- [Praxisideen-Finder](https://vielfalt-begleiten.nrw/praxisideen-finder/) (finder for practical ideas): reviewed ideas on diversity and belonging, filtered by topic and situation.
- [Vielfalt-Kompass](https://vielfalt-begleiten.nrw/vielfalt-kompass/) (diversity compass): a self-check for the team, six dimensions, with no assessment from outside.
- [Elternbrief-Helfer](/ki-toolbox/elternbrief-helfer/) (help with letters to parents): notices and letters to parents in plain language and in the languages the families speak.
- [Articles from practice](/blog/): experience, advice and ideas from the locations.
